Lenovo’s Legion may not be top of mind when it comes to the automatic choices to look for when searching for gaming laptops but the brand is aggressively looking to change gamer’s minds by it’s new offering.

While not as powerful as the GTX1060, GTX1070 and GTX1080 options you’ll find on ASUS’ G series, MSI’s GE series or Alienware 15 and 17’s, these new laptops are bringing plenty of premium features on the mainstream side, that many users will enjoy.

The Y7000 and Y530 will be the least expensive of the trio, and will start at $930 (P49,995) and $960 (P50,995), respectitvely, for the Core i5 + GTX1050 configurations (before taxes). Expect to see it in PH for around 59,995-64,995 when it lands.

On the higher end side, the Y730 will be available in 15inch and 17inch versions and will start at $1180 (P62,990) and $1250 (P66,990), respectively. What’s weird though is that it maxes out at GTX1050ti instead of a GTX1060, despite the price tag. Expect it to land for roughly P69,995-74,995 if Lenovo PH brings it locally, due to taxes.

Hardware wise, all 3 laptops come with very thin bezels and stealth looking designs. The Y7000 and Y530 have a white only back-lit keyboard while the Y730 brings RGB. The Y730 also gets additional lights on the underside for a more gamer-y feel.  And oh, the Y legion Logo also lights up at the back of the laptop.
