Samsung Note9 Android 9.0 with One UI has started rolling out

The day has finally arrived, and it’s here much earlier than the pegged February 2019 date. Samsung has started rolling out a stable Note 9 Android Pie update to some users in Germany, and it won’t be long till it hits the other parts of the world.

While it’s not the direct update from Android 8.1 to Android 9.0 directly, it’s still a good indication that we won’t be waiting long. To those under the 9.0 beta program the update is only 95MB , which kind of also implies that the beta was an almost finished build. For us regular users, this means that if we’re really itching – we can go ahead and try that beta for ourselves without worrying too much!

The Note 9 Pie brings a number of features to the Note 9 along with Samsungs One Ui (Previously TouchWiz and Samsung Experience).

The software version for the Pie update is codenamed N960FXXU2CRLT and it includes the January 2018 security patch.

To download it on your Galaxy Note 9, tap the Download and install option in the Software update section of the phone’s Settings app. Chances are you won’t find an update while you’re reading this this January but if you do, let us know in the comments section and give the other users a heads up!
