Last year, MSI Gaming introduced their ultra-thin gaming laptop in the Philippines, the GS65 Stealth thin. With the introductory price of PHP 134,995 for the GTX1060 variant, it was meant to go head to head with it’s main competitor, the ROG Zephyrus S priced at PHP 129,995.
While being PHP 5,000 more expensive than it’s direct competitor in the market, most reviews show that the GS65 Stealth Thin justified the price premium it has. But as of last week, Villman, one of the most popular retailer, posted a photo on their Facebook page showing that the GS65 Stealth Thin has a brand new price of PHP 119,995. That’s a PHP 15,000 price drop which effectively makes it as an easy choice over the ROG Zephyrus S!
The photo was posted last January 22 but as of today, we heard that the price drop is already official even to other MSI Gaming authorized resellers.
What do you think? The GS65 Stealth Thin in our opinion is a better choice over the ROG Zephyrus S even when it was still priced at PHP 134,995. But being PHP 10,000 cheaper than its rival now, we think that it’s already a no brainer for those who are looking to buy an ultra-thin gaming laptop.
