We’re less than a month away from the official unveil of the Galaxy S10 series and we’re getting rumors that there will be 3 variants, similar to how iPhone released 3 variantz in the X series – XR, XS and XS MAX.
In this new wave of leaks, it is now confirmed that the 10series will still be featuring a headphone jack.
All about Samsung and Evanblass states that the 3rd variant will be called S10E and will feature a smaller footprint versus the regular S10 and S10+. Both the S10E and S10 will feature a single camera upfront while the S10+ will feature dual cameras.
In terms of rear cameras, it seems all the 2 bigger variants will feature 3 cameras at the back while the s10E will feature a similar set up to the Note9 or S9.
Without a fingerprint scanner visible on the S10 and S10+ variant, we can only assume that they will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner while the S10E will feature a rear mounted scanner as with the previous generations.
To sum it all up, it seems the S10E will be similar to the S9 but with beefed up specs – including the use of the Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9800 series. Only the front will differ with the use of the Infinity O display which uses a punch hole camera, but will be a flat display instead of curved.
For the S10 and S10+ variant, we speculate the use of a supersonic sound tehnology (similar to the original Mi Mix) instead of a regular sound grill up top, since there’s not much bezel at the top. Rumor has it that the high end variant will also use 8GB ram and up to 1TB of internal storage. The sizez are speculated to be 5.99″, 6.4″ and 6.7″ for the s10E, S10 and s10+ respectively.
We’ll update this thread as we get more information on the 3 variants.
