The Nvidia GPP has been the talk of town for a while now, with an old Nvidia exec now in AMD even writing a hearty post about the issue.

But today we get concrete evidence, from ASUS themselves that they are indeed moving AMD branded GPU to a different brand. This is because the GPP pretty much disallows you to have a competing chip under the same brand, i.e ROG. Word is, if you give 100% dedication of your brand to them under the GPP – You get more funding and “Allocation”. Ofcourse, there wont be any fine print on the contract itself but one can almost assume impacts on availability if you dont pledge to it.
