Deepcool launches the new GAMMAXX GT A-RGB CPU Cooler

Adding on to their popular GAMMAXX GT RGB, Deepcool has recently launched the new GAMMAXX GT A-RGB CPU Cooler. What’s the difference? Not so much aesthetically – but building on where it definitely matters. Featuring instead addressable RGB and a minor facelift, DEEPCOOL opted to stick with a design that gives a familiar vibe.

According to Deepcool, here are the major features:

  • Black top cover with A-RGB logo.
  • 120mm PWM fan with upgraded performance and A-RGB lighting.
  • Lighting system can be controlled by either included wire controller or motherboard.
  • 4 new-tech copper pipes improve heat transfer and dissipation efficiency.
  • The new fin-mounting process elevate ventilation.
  • The brand-new foolproof mounting kit makes GAMMAXX GT A-RGB easier and safer to use.

The GAMMAXX GT A-RGB has a single-tower design with four 6mm direct-contact heatpipes, measuring 129×77×157.5 mm. This gives acceptable clearance for DRAM, as the tower itself is not too thick. It is also not too tall, so it will fit fine with most cases. DEEPCOOL used a new designed copper heatpipes, and aluminum fins, which is quite normal for CPU coolers at this level, and is still probably the best option for now.

The fan has an improved speed of 1,650 max RPM that’s measured at 120mm and has PWM fan control. According to DEEPCOOL, this configuration can churn out 64.5 CFM of airflow to the system (which is slightly lower than the 70 CFM of the previous model), with a pressure rated at 2.1 mmAq. Fan noise is minimal at ≤27.8 dB(A).

Aside from addressable RGB and minor tweaks, the top plate has a nice-looking RGB-fitted DEEPCOOL Logo which is very subtly visible outside of the PC case. Pretty cool.

The DEEPCOOL GAMAXX GT A-RGB CPU Cooler will be available soon in the Philippines, no mention of SRP yet though!
