In a post yestersay by credible leakster EVAN BLASS @evleaks, he shows off some renders of a dual slider concept that he says is from the designer of last year’s Zenfone 5.

To be called the Zenfone 6, the phone is slated to be announced next month, May 2019. Asus aims to change the game and add more functionality to the mid range and premium range instead of just fighting head on for spec and price.
This comes after announcements were made last year that the Zenfone line was being scaled down from volume to focusing on performance and unique offerings. We’ll definitely see more flagships from Asus including the successor to the ROG phone.
The mobile industry is filled with so many identical phones that make it hard to survive if you’re not either CHEAP or UNIQUE. Asus, being a premium brand, is choosing to go the latter route.
To be honest, we’re pretty excited to see this design make it into the real world. These are just concepts as of now but we’re interested to know what kind of functionality Asus can add to the fray.
The top slider will definitely be for the selfie camera but the bottom slider remains to be identified. One of the concepts show a speaker phone but that is going to be quite a hassle having to slide your phone down just for extra speakers. It would be much better if Asus can incorporate some kind of capacitive input function that changes according to application, similar to how Asus did with their Zenbook Pro Screen pad.
Ultimately, if Asus pulls this off – then we’re definitely going to see a big year from them this 2019 in the upper mid range and premium range.
