What we are seing here is a full render of what seems to be LG’s next flagship smartphone popularly known as the G7. Though rumors may have mentioned before that the name might change this year, some things were confirmed thanks to the help of the famous and reputable source OnLeaks.
Dubbed as the G7 Neo in this year’s MWC, this photo confirms that the next LG flagship will indeed have that notch up there. Aside from the notch, photos leaked confirm that it will still include a rare headphone jack, sport a metal chassis, and dual rear camera. Other specs we can expect is Snapdragon 845, a hefty amount of RAM, and an updated LG UI supporting the latest version of Android.
What’s interesting is that, based on the photos, LG has reverted back in putting a power button on the right side of the phone which is a welcome change to what they usually do. What they usually do since their G2 flagship up until to their current V20, they use a power button and a fingerprint sensor combo on the rear side of the device.
Another worth noting point on the photo is that below the volume rocker, there seems to be another button. If we have to guess, this might be LG’s take on Samsung’s Bixby virtual assistant.
Could this be LG’s next flagship smartphone? We might be seeing this device very soon so stay tuned!
